Human Services Department
The Hillsborough County Human Services Department is charged with the
responsibility for the care of people who lack sufficient income to provide for
themselves.
Services include:
1. Old Age Assistance
2. Aid to the Permanently and Totally Disabled
3. Long Term Care for seriously ill and fragile elderly
4. the Board and Care of Children
The cost of programs are proportionately shared with the state.
