One of the authorities vested in the Board of Commissioners is that
of voting on distribution of Incentive Funds. In FY2006,
Hillsborough County recieved $1.2 million in incentive fund grant
money from the State general fund.
That amount was split evenly between the 3 county districts of which District 3 recieved over $340,000.

Organizations in District 3 receiving incentive fund grants in FY2006 were:

As your County Commissioner, you can depend that I will do all I can
to assure that Hillsborough District 3 Towns are well represented
in distribution of Incentive fund grants.
